A simple project you can build yourself!

Here's the schematic diagram of the project. The battery monitor circuitry is enclosed within the green line.

 

Here's a pic of the parts you'll need to complete the project.
I had to do some color correction to make the red text a bit more readable, Yo-

 

After obtaining the parts listed on the schematic, begin construction with the box cover by cutting out the openings
for the meter and the battery selector switch as shown in the picture below.

 

Once the cover cutouts have been made, the meter and switch can be mounted as shown below.
Note the push-on connectors for more easily attaching the wiring to the meter without soldering.

 

Next comes the mounting of the Voltage Regulator. Note again the use of push-on connectors.

 

Once all the wiring has been completed, close it all up and you get the finished project.
