Author's note about this project:
The Automatic Load Shed device is intenended to be installed as a permanent
fixture and hard wired in
place using the common household wiring known as Romex also used for 120v
wiring in most common RV's.
I chose to utilize this device in a different manner for two different reasons.
The first reason being one of portability.
I don't intend to keep this rig forever, being able to remove things easily
is of importance and the second reason being
one of testability of the device. Using this method I am able to quickly and
safely change test loads without having
to fuss with opening the ALS itself and mux-around with the wiring inside
the unit. it's just simply, plug-n-play. I like it :-)
